Perhaps the most perfect spot to hike and picnic in West LA, Will Rogers State Park is the former estate of American humorist and actor Will Rogers. Backing up to the Santa Monica Mountains, the park has polo fields, horse stables, loads of picnic spaces, and hikes (both big and small) with incredible views of the ocean, downtown, and even the Angeles Mountains. This is one of the best parks in LA and is by far one of the most natural feeling spaces you can get to in this crazy urban sprawl.
