Conveniently located within The Shops at Crystals is a restaurant that captures all the whimsical fun of the ocean pier and brings it indoors for a refreshing fine dining experience. At Bazaar Mar, the seafood-driven plates are as playful as the menu itself, featuring avant-garde choices like the “Key Lime Beach,” a realistic sandcastle dessert that is crafted using graham cracker crumble, key lime mousse shell decor, and finally, a lime wave of foam that has broken on the piece’s shore. If that’s not enough, you can also enjoy their take on the California “Funnel Cake” or even their creatively named “Honey, I Shrunk the Elote,” which includes popcorn powder. Their wine selection follows this trend, all selections being seafood-friendly, but compiled with a strong focus on Spain– offering 220 various selections to choose from.
Such an interactive celebration of the depths of the ocean is reflected in the establishment's surrounding walls and decor. Some areas resemble a spice bazaar with warm and cozy orange tones, while other parts feel like a siren’s royal palace, where shiny gold and emerald fixtures are guarded by Silcian centaur statues. By day, the space is a lively coffee shop, offering lattes, tea, and pastries. By night, it changes to a lively bar/lounge, offering cocktails, caviar, and other elevated bites as you either sit and wait for your reservation or indulge a little more after dinner.
