Why You’ll Love It
A combination of the original Lyric (1903) and the Apollo (1920) Theatres, the Lyric combines innovative technology and the finest acoustics with a long-established sense of contact between the actors and the audience. Designed by Richard Lewis Blinder of Beyer Blinder Belle, in collaboration with Peter Kofman, the theater still exhibits the same historic splendor as its predecessors; the old Lyric inspired the lobby, while the old Apollo inspired the auditorium. Previous productions include Jesus Christ Superstar, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Young Frankenstein, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, and most recently, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Arrival:
- Be sure to arrive at the theater about 30 minutes before the time on the ticket. This show famously begins right at the time stated and will not wait for any late stragglers.
