Originally known as the Rubell Family Collection since 1993, it rebranded as the Rubell Museum to enhance public accessibility. The museum features 36 galleries, a performance space, a research library, a bookstore, and a courtyard garden showcasing South Florida's native plants. Its extensive collection spans painting, sculpture, photography, video, and installations, enabling it to curate over 50 exhibitions, including notable shows like Richard Prince, Keith Haring, and Yayoi Kusama, many of which have toured internationally.
