Vista Theatre

4475 Sunset Drive, Los Angeles, 90027, US

Why You’ll Love It

The Vista is an iconic and historic theatre built in the 1920s, recently purchased and restored by Quentin Tarantino. It showcases new releases as well as classic films, all in 35mm or 70mm, with a state-of-the-art sound system that creates the ultimate experience for viewers. Many famous actors and directors have attended, hosted, or sometimes surprised audiences at screenings of their films there. Anne Hathaway, Taika Waititi, Lupita Nyong'o, John Cho, Zoë Kravitz, Chris Hemsworth, and Tessa Thompson have all attended screenings of their films at the Vista since 2018. Today, the Vista serves as a truly unique and preserved piece of vintage Los Angeles history with all the modern updates.

Films turn over roughly every few days, so be sure to check the schedule for what's currently showing at the time of your trip. Additionally, be sure to check out Pam’s Coffy next door before or after your show! They serve Tarantino’s custom blend made by Jones Coffee Roasters in Pasadena.
