The Last Bookstore is a magical place nestled deep inside what is otherwise the rougher streets Downtown LA. Thousands upon thousands of books are just the start, as this 22,000 square-foot building that was once a bank houses art exhibits, mazes, and hidden treasures everywhere you look. Their selection of books is impressive, as is their ability to make searching for reading material an adventure all on its own.

Even if you don't read anymore, this place is a favorite for both locals and tourists. It's also only a couple blocks from Grand Central Market if you get hungry. Parking is difficult in Downtown, so your best bet is to try and find valet or close street parking as it can be unsafe in the surrounding areas.
