Why You’ll Love It
The Brothers Sushi specializes in seasonal fish from Japan, dry-aged fish such as bluefin tuna, Ora King Salmon from New Zealand, Kanpachi, and hamachi. They also pride themselves in using locally grown produce such as ice plants from a San Marcos California farm called Girl and Dug. With over 20 years of experience, Chef Mark Okuda and his team offer exquisite food, friendly service, and an inviting environment for you and your loved ones to enjoy. They offer both seasonal Omakase Chefs courses and a la carte options. Should you be interested in sake, a Sake Sommelier is on site. Mark Okuda has spent his whole life not only in Japanese restaurants but specifically in Japanese restaurants in the San Fernando Valley, where he was born and raised. He grew up hanging out at Teru Sushi, the Studio City spot that’s been around since 1979, while his mom waited tables. A skip away at an early job at Asanebo (another incredible sushi spot that once had a Michelin star), he honed in on his culinary technique and sushi knowledge.
