Why You’ll Love It
Nothing screams LA more than taking something that you expect to be cheap and simple and making it over the top and gourmet. But that is exactly what Pono Burger did, and thank god because they are so good. Organic, grass-fed meats with unique flavor combinations rule the menu, but their fries, onion rings, and shakes are a worthy second act. One of the dining areas is inside a farm shed converted with hanging plants and string lights paying homage to... well, we think the cows.

The waiters can be a bit snooty, but that's par for course in Santa Monica. The tables inside the shed are usually the most desirable, but all options are good. Paid street parking can be easily found most days.
