Le Thai is what happens when a family offers up their deep love of food to the public for the pure joy of it. Every recipe here comes from the owner's mother, who was not only one of the first pediatricians in Las Vegas but was also from a prominent Thai family who often hosted high-profile guests like dignitaries and prominent political figures.
The restaurant has a hole-in-the-wall vibe with a semi-open kitchen and tables squeezed together. It only adds to the ambiance and drives home the point that Chef Dan Coughlin’s famous three-color curry, homemade Thai noodle soup, and signature waterfall sauce are the real stars of the show. There's outdoor seating in the front and the interior courtyard, with laid-back decor featuring greenery and multiple hand-painted murals.

Le Thai is a DTLV favorite and it can be really hard to get a table if you don't call ahead. While the front patio is tempting, it's also uncomfortably close to the pedestrians walking by. Opt for the interior courtyard instead.
