Kasama is beloved by locals for its mouthwatering baked goods and afternoon sandwiches, but it's their evening tasting menu that has won them their fine dining accolades that include a 2023 James Beard Award, a spot on Eater's list of 'Best New Restaurants in America,' and, of course, their 2023 Michelin Star. The tasting menu features 13 courses and uses high-end ingredients in innovative ways that enhance each traditional dish, like wagyu beef bistek, kinilaw with caviar, and multiple variations of lumpia. Kasama's interior feels more like a classic, cozy diner than a fine-dining restaurant to cater to the local community during the day, with counter seating to watch the cooks work in the open kitchen, glass displays filled to the brim with pastries, and plenty of windows that fill the space with natural light.
