Afterward, stroll over to Out of the Closet and walk off your food coma and mimosas.

The walls are filled with Hollywood history, and larger parties might snag the famous gangster Mickey Cohen’s booth, complete with his floor safe. For a unique dining experience, couples should ask to sit in the trolley car. Don’t miss wandering the bar to see celebrity headshots and a back bar dedicated to Asian American cinema and theater.

The speakeasy is nestled on the second floor inside The Escape Hotel, safe from the spooky scare actors who stick to downstairs. Enjoy regular entertainment, with Sinatra Thursdays being a highlight. If you prefer to avoid playful pranks from below, steer clear of tables by the rail. Don't miss out on one of the city's few spots serving the Corpse Reviver No. 2, my absolute favorite cocktail.

Don't forget to check their event calendar for special occasions like Halloween parties with cats in costumes and kitty yoga sessions! Arrive 15 minutes early if you fancy coffee during your visit. And remember, the adorable cats at the cafe are adoptable, so beware of soft hearts! Also, this is not a traditional "cafe" per se, so don't expect the same offerings you would expect from a traditional cafe.
